Julië is a multi-talented individual with a passion for sewing, music, and sustainable living. Married to Geert and a mother to Jaïra and Ezra, she resides in Bleiswijk but holds a deep connection to her Rotterdam roots. Her creative journey began in childhood, sewing for dolls and learning music, skills honed at Codarts in Rotterdam. Despite her formal music education, Julië found her true calling in creative entrepreneurship and hands-on crafts, particularly sewing with upcycled materials. Her initiative, Scrunchie Today, showcases her commitment to sustainability, selling scrunchies made from reused materials. 

Julië has also created a unique platform, Atelier Zaterdag, blending her love for sustainable fashion and creative education. Currently, she works as a singing and music coach and leads various choirs. Julië’s life is a testament to following one’s passion, balancing a love for music, sewing, and teaching, all while advocating for a sustainable lifestyle.
