Atelier Joyada, founded by Jacomien, combines her passion for design with her background as a social worker. Working primarily with refugee families from Eritrea, Jacomien began sewing her own clothes as a young girl alongside her aunt. Now, she collaborates with Tales of Threads and is launching her own atelier, where she will create beautiful designs in partnership with refugee women. Atelier Joyada reflects Jacomien’s commitment to craftsmanship, community, and empowering women through creative work.
